The American Heart Association’s BLS Online Course is web-based and accessible 24 hours a day. This type of training provides a flexible alternative to the classroom. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support.
Following the online portion of class, participants must complete an in person practice and testing session with an Instructor.
Students who successfully complete the online portion receive a certificate that allows them entrance to the skills practice and testing session.
An AHA BLS course for Healthcare Professionals completion card will be issued upon successful completion of the online and skills testing session. This completion care is valid for 2 years.
This course requires that the online portion be done prior to your skills testing, print your certificate and bring it with you to the skills check. Select the best skills check time that works for you. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours for you to complete the online portion. Keys for the online portion of the course will be e-mailed out to participants to the email provided upon registration.
